Barbara Sontag, President


Ms.Sontag is a licensed private investigator and has been with the firm for over fifteen years.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and an MBA with a concentration in Accounting.

During her distinguished career, Ms. Sontag has had comprehensive experience in conducting complex financial investigations involving tax evasion, bribery, kickbacks, bid rigging, mail fraud, and civil claims.  A number of these cases involved clients who held extensive national prominence.  Ms. Sontag has handled all aspects of investigations including financial document analysis, interviewing witnesses, discrediting adversarial witnesses and surveillance.

Most recently, her investigations have included the largest IRS and SEC case in the recent history of the United States.  Additionally, she has worked on a notorious murder trial involving a multi-million dollar estate.

Ms. Sontag is listed in an International Who’s Who of Business Crime Lawyers as one of the leading providers of forensic accountancy services.  This publication is published by the International Bar Association.
